Mercy Heart Institute at CHW's Sacramento hospitals offers a comprehensive program to assist those who have the condition known as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), which simply means that your heart has been weakened.
THE CHAMP® team of healthcare professionals is comprised of the Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Registered Nurses, Exercise Physiologists, Pharmacists, Dietitians, Nutritionists and other healthcare professionals of our care centers.
Heart Smart
The Heart Smart program at CHW's Sacramento hospitals helps prevent complications from heart disease. The Mercy Medical Group staff provides monitoring (including blood lipid levels) and teaches proper dietary habits, including exercise, weight management and smoking cessation.
